Once upon a time, a curious and passionate explorer embarked on a life-changing journey in a world where creativity was often misunderstood and underestimated. Our founder, Nicole Shannon, delved into the depths of neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, art, and faith, seeking to unravel the mysteries of creativity and its impact on human potential.
Our founder discovered that creativity is more than just a gift bestowed upon artists and visionaries. It is the lifeblood of humanity, the force that propelled our ancestors to build civilizations, invent languages, and create new technologies. It is the power that fuels progress and innovation, pushing us to reach beyond the stars.
In the midst of this journey, our founder encountered countless people who believed they were not creative. As a result, they often felt lost, unable to tap into the wellspring of potential within them. These confessions were both disheartening and inspiring to Nicole, igniting a burning desire to share her newfound understanding of creativity with the world.
And so, Create Potential was born. A place where visionaries, founders, and artists could come together to learn, grow, and unlock the creative capability that lies within each of us. Founder / Chief Executive Officer
Nicole Shannon is an artist, writer, and certified flow coach trained by the Flow Research Collective. After devoting over a decade to exploring the connection between creativity and peak performance, she founded Create Potential, dedicated to helping people maximize their potential through science-backed creativity and flow state training.
She studied art and design at SUNY New Paltz and Savannah College of Art and Design, where she explored various creative disciplines and used them to convey her ideas and emotions. She has worked professionally as a custom goldsmith, a sculptor, a fashion designer, a writer, an art educator, UX Architect, and a product developer.
Her artwork has been showcased in Vogue, New York Fashion Week, the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, FL, and the Telfair Museum in Savannah, GA, among other curated exhibitions throughout the US and abroad.
Nicole believes that every person is "equal by definition" to a creative being, born with innate value and an intrinsic capacity for creativity. She is committed to helping individuals access their creativity to overcome life's challenges and reach their full potential.

Chief Community Officer
As a nurse with almost 17 years of experience, Avari has helped people from diverse backgrounds improve their mental and physical health. Working in mental health positions, she has treated patients at their most vulnerable and helped them navigate difficulty to find purpose and productivity. She has seen firsthand the transformational power of the human spirit., witnessing the growth and healing of even those with severe PTSD.As a certified nutrition consultant, Avari is passionate about holistic well-being and recognizes how proper nutrition and exercise can positively impact our physical and mental health.
Avari is committed to connecting people with the tools they need to succeed and overcome obstacles. She uses her skills and experience to inspire and support others on their journey toward well-being and personal growth. Her compassionate and supportive nature makes her an integral part of the Create Potential team.
